If you are in Singapore and want a side-trip to Legoland Malaysia but you are in a budget, travelling by bus is for you!

There are 2 choices of public bus transport going to the Singapore-Malaysia border.

  • Jurong East Interchange / Boon Lay
  • Woodlands

I will share my experience travelling to Legoland Malaysia from Singapore via Jurong East Interchange.

Via Jurong East Interchange

Jurong East (CW3/4) – Tuas Checkpoint – CIQ Interlink (CW7L) – Legoland

  1. Go to Jurong East MRT Station
  2. At the ground level, you can find the Jurong Eeast bus station
  3. Look for Bus CW3 or CW4 to go to Tuas Checkpoint
    • Bus Fare (Singapore cards do not work here! Pay in cash!):
      • SGD 4.00 from SG to MY
      • RM 5.00 from MY to SG

  4. The bus will drop you off to the Singapore Immigration. Walk your way to depart to Singapore. After getting done, exit and find your bus again. In case you have trouble on SG immigration, and the bus already left, you can jump on to next bus as long as you have your ticket. Just show it if they ask for it (usually they don’t ask).
  5. The bus will go to CIQ 2nd Link. Here, pass through Malaysian Immigration. After getting done, exit and you will find buses.
  6. Find bus number CW7L to go to Mall of Medini/Legoland. You can ask around where is the bus going to Legoland. The bus frequency is around 30min.
  7. Arrive at Mall of Medini.

Legoland Malaysia is just right behind the mall of Medini.

If you want to exchange your money to Malaysian Ringgit (RM), they have money exchange there too. There are also a lot of fast food chains and restaurants there.

Have a wonderful trip and enjoy Legoland Malaysia!
